C Blunt comes to Revolver! For the first time since 2003's Julius Caesar, the Chicano rapper C Blunt brings his own unique style and talent to Revolver Records, showcasing his smooth vocal delivery and choice lyrical selection. His flows are infectious and will quite likely get you grooving from the moment you start listening!

Every few years come by and music takes a fresh new direction. It’s called a Movement, an original and unique sound. This is the case with C-Blunt. While a lot of artists are just copies of what’s been in the past and also what’s currently hot, C-Blunt has his own style.

C-Blunt is a mystery. His tone and delivery will be emulated by many and this new style of Urban Music is called “Chill Hop” and that’s why Industry Executives are praising the talent of C-Blunt. “It’s the not following the trend, it is creating something new and fresh.” C-Blunt also states, “I always feel that (as an artist) I need to ride the wave with my pattern flow and be in the pocket while my tone, back and ads compliment the Instrumentals.”

“Chill Hop” is fresh, exciting and musically dynamic. The title track sets the mood, and C-Blunt’s delivery brings you to a level of acceptance and absorption in the music itself. C-Blunt has been tagged as the King of metaphors and laid back vocalising.

With slick production by up & coming producers including C-Blunt, Eliot Waldhorn and David Salas, and the mixing by famed Mixer Extraordinaire Dave Aron of Tupac, Prince, U2, Sublime, Snoop Dogg and the featured Artist and Musicians (who have worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin, Snoop Dogg, Dixie Chicks, Natalie Cole, Sheryl Crow, Shakira, Royal Crown Revue, Brian Setzer and the Duke Ellington Orchestra and many more platinum artists), this upcoming album is sure to make a statement. Chill Hop has even been mastered by Bernie Grundman himself (Michael Jackson, Dr. Dre, Elton John, Alanis Morisette, Eminem, 50 Cent) from Bernie Grundman Mastering!

C-Blunt was raised in Los Angeles, lived the struggle, joined the Armed Forces, became a DJ, worked odd jobs, went to school for engineering and found his talent in producing, then stepped up to the Mic at his home studio... and the rest, as they say, is history. C-Blunt’s influences include Busta Ryhmes, Tribe Called Quest (Q-Tip), DJ Quik & Tupac.

You can buy Chill Hop from iTunes, or from our web site on either CD album or as unencumbered, DRM-free 320kbps MP3s.
