The thing is, with 17 hit singles (including a Number 1) in the UK, 10 hit singles (including two Number 1s) in the US and 14 hit albums in the UK, Leo Sayer is - without a shadow of doubt - one of the most successful male artists Britain has ever produced.

And now Revolver proudly present ‘Voice In My Head’, Leo’s first album of new material since 1990’s ‘Cool Touch’. An album that shows exactly why Leo became a musician in the first place, referencing Atlantic Soul, R&B in the proper sense, New Orleans funk and stunningly delicate, timeless ballads.

As Leo says, “We’re talking about those songs that I was never able to record over the years because I let myself be drawn into compromises. I now know that there are simple constants in pop that do not pass with time. Steely Dan wrote and played music like this - I tried to at least. It’s just that my head is awash with these voices and notes that I absolutely have to write down; it’s like a disease, which is why it’s not always welcome."

But it does shut up those who “...see and would like to see (me) in the past. I may have no regrets but it doesn’t bother me any more; I work with the talents I have today. And this album is the first one I’ve made that completely corresponds to my ideas."
