A compilation celebrating the very best of Bruce Springsteen's music, performed by artists and groups who have been influenced by his music in the past. Featuring performances by Nils Lofgren, Elvis Costello, Billy Bragg, Joe Ely and Joe Grushecky to name but a few, this double CD album contains 37 tracks which really highlight Springsteen's songwriting skills. Springsteen himself was apparently so impressed with Elliot Murpy's take on "Better Days" that he asked him to perform it onstage with the E Street Band during one of Springsteen's European gigs.
If you're a Bruce Springsteen fan, you need this album in your catalogue - not only does it include a great selection of his tracks, the performances will make you see his work in an entirely different light. An essential for any collection!
