In 2000 James Hudson stood alone in a Wolverhampton nightclub, watching yet another Blink 182 soundalike, despairing at the state of the live music scene. From out of nowhere appeared a man who introduced himself as E.P. James tried to look at the man's face, but it was hidden by the shadow from the high collar of his white jump suit. The man told James that it was his destiny to bring Rock n Roll back to the people. "but who will join me in this cause?" asked James, to which the man pointed a heavily jewelled finger at the dancefloor, parting the crowd like the red sea, and leaving only 3 people in view. These people were Bassist Kevan Jones, Guitarist Lee "The Boy" Morris, and drummer Lee Jones.

Thus The Blunts were born. These disciples bedecked themselves in leather jackets and big shoes (well, the drummer didn't, but this is purely a comfort issue and in no way questions his devotion to the cause). A series of live shows followed, initially taking place around their stomping ground of the west midlands, but soon their message was taken to the further flung pastures of London and Manchester. Reviewers loved their blend of old fashioned Rock n Roll sand blasted with punk, metal and even pop influences, leaving one reviewer to exclaim "Lets hope The Blunts can start a new rock revolution because they are so, so fucking worth it."

They entered the technological age with their website (imaginatively addressed www.TheBlunts.com), and have received hundreds of emails from fans who have listened to their recordings and have embraced the band's Rock n Roll sensibilities. The latest message to be sent to the site is signed from E.P. and says simply "Thankyer The Blunts. Thankyer very much"

This is just the story so far. To be part of the Rock n Roll revolution visit the website, pick up your copy of the album from this web site and find out where you can see The Blunts live. Either that, or wait and read about it in the history books.
