Exodus Unknown stands as the defining title track, marking a clear evolution in the band’s sound. As the final stages of their last EP came together, Hardip set the tone early with a dominant and ambitious set of riffs, immediately signalling a step up in intensity and direction. True to their process, the track was built from the ground up with guitars and drums at its core, before the vocals were layered in to complete the vision.

From the outset, the song demanded scale. What began as an idea for two solos quickly escalated, with Hardip ultimately delivering three, leaning fully into the track’s sense of excess and unpredictability.

Vocally and conceptually, the narrative draws from an unusual but compelling idea, an old theory that humanity may have once come from Mars. Taking that thread, the perspective shifts to the final days of that planet, imagining the chaos, destruction, and irreversible decline that could have forced its inhabitants to abandon it in search of survival elsewhere.

The result is a track that captures pure bedlam. Exodus Unknown channels the collapse of a world in real time, urgent, volatile, and unrelenting. Beneath the chaos lies a reflection that feels uncomfortably relevant, as if history could be circling back toward a similar fate.
