Originally released in 1982, Soviet Invasion captures Witchfinder General at the heart of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, combining raw, doom-laden riffs with the dark, uncompromising sound that helped establish them as cult legends of the British metal underground. This Deluxe Edition brings together the original Soviet Invasion EP tracks with live recordings and additional material from the band’s early years, including “Burning a Sinner”, “No Stayer”, “Music” and “Last Chance”. A must-have for fans of classic doom metal and NWOBHM, this special Heavy Metal Records release is available on maroon vinyl and black polycarbonate vinyl-effect CD.
